Everytime I think I havemy Eller line connected, I find something else that confuses me. I am a novice genealogists-it confuses and fascinates me. Here is what I think is right. Please correct me someone if I am not. Starting with my mom, she was Lela Faye Abshire. Her father, Ruric Tyree Abshire and his father was Ammon LaTellieu Abshire. His mother and father were Easom Abshire and Nancy Catherine Mason. Her parents were Daniel D. Mason and Susan Himley and Susan's parents were Peter Himley and Nancy Eller. Nancy's parents were Jacob Eller and Magdalena Peters and Jacob's father was George Michael Eller. Does this sound right to everyone? That would make George Michael my 6th great-grandfather. Right? Then is his Paul Casper and Margareth Huels? Paul's parents Johann Adam Valatin Eller and Margarete Gerbert? And then Johann Eller and Anna Barbara Startzig? Then Matthes Eller? Would love to know. Everytime I google names or check on ancestry.com, I seem to find differing opinions and more and more information I am not sure what to do with. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

My grandmother was Carrie Mae Eller b.1904 in Saltville,VA Her father was John J. Eller b.1876 of Ashe Co. NC. John lived most of his life in Bristol,VA area and his wife was Rosa Thomas. His father was Linville Eller b.1852 Ashe Co. NC. His father was Peter Eller b.1823 in Ashe Co. His father was Henry Eller b.1788 N.C. His father was a George Michael Eller. Does anyone else in this association have Eller ties to Bristol or any of these Eller names? I would be interested in communicating with you.
