122 George Eller Jr. (1782-1851) was born in Wythe Co., VA and died in KY. George Eller, Jr. received some of his father's

land in what is now Grayson County (in 1807, it was in Lee County. He paid 1915 taxes on the land). On 03 Sep 1814, he

was granted 100 additional acres on the waters of the Wallings (Seal fixed in Richmond 10 May 1810).  By 1836, he was

on his way to Wayne Co., Kentucky. On 28 April, he purchased several tracts of land on the north side of the Cumberland

River. He paid $1000.  On 07 Feb 1854, his son Harrison sold two of those tracts of land for $1600 to James Morrow.  He

married twice, first to ? Fester and second to Polly Oaks.

                1225 George Washington Eller (April 28, 1817-May 1, 1899) was born in KY and died in Collin Co., TX. He moved to

 Collin Co., TX from Boling Green, Wayne Co., KY in 1865 and settled in Collin Co., TX.   Washington Eller, and his

 brothers and sisters all appeared to have been born and raised in Kentucky, where their father lived after leaving

 Virginia. Washington traveled to Texas with brothers Harrison and Leander and his son John William.  Washington

 Eller took his family from Kentucky to Collin County, Texas (just North of Dallas) about 1865. Janet Rice, whose 

                         letters with Iris Britton of Fredericksburg, TX form a large part of what we know of the Washington Eller line, seemed

 to believe that Washington was a son of George Eller, Sr. Other research seems to suggest what we show here:

 that he was a grandson of George Sr. and a son of George, Jr. Washington and Malinda are buried at Cottage Hill

 Church Cemetery near Celina, TX.

John W. Eller was part of the family when his father brought them from Bowling Green, Kentucky, to Collin

 County, Texas, around 1865. John was 16. His wife's family moved from the area around St. Joseph,

 Missouri, about the same time. She told members of the family that her family came by covered-wagon and

 that she walked much of the way. John helped establish the Church of Christ, which first met in his home.

 Later he donated land for the Francis Avenue Church of Christ.  He married Eliza Catherine O’Brien

 April 2, 1868.

                                    122536 William Genson Eller (June 10, 1882-November 1960) He was called “Gink” Eller.  He was born in

 Collin Co., TX and died in Pampa, TX.  He married twice, first to Lucy Vernon Michael at Cottage Hill

 near Celina, TX in 1901, and secondly to Berth Mae Wigham March 5, 1929 in Panhandle, TX. Gink

 and Lucy moved to Miami, TX in 1904.  They later lived in Clayton, NM and moved shortly thereafter

 to Panhandle, TX. They had 4 sons and 2 daughters.  "Gink" Eller moved to New Mexico in the early

 1900's. Taking their young children, they moved by covered wagon and established a homestead

 near Clayton. Hard times forced them back to the Texas panhandle after about six years. After

 returning, Lucy died from a complication of measles. Gink then began raising the six children. He

 remarried in 1929...and had three sons by this second wife.

                                    122538 Thomas Eller (June 29, 1889- ) was born in Collin Co., TX.  Tom Eller came to the Texas panhandle

  in 1914 at the age of 15. He became a telegraph operator at the train station in Canadian, Texas.

  Later he became a farmer. In a recording made by a nephew, Tom Eller said of farming that he

  spent the first ten years "breaking out sod and building fences." He farmed with his father and later

  on his own.  Tom played both the horn and violin. His wife played the piano. Both were active ham

  radio operators (he in 1939, she in 1940). Both were active bridge players.  Tom married Ethel

  Benton in 1918.

                1227 Harrison Eller (May 23, 1819-December 6, 1885) was born in KY and died in Bonham, Fannin Co., TX.  He and his

 descendants lived in Fannin Co., TX. He has a descendant living in Denison, TX.  Harrison came to Texas in 1859

 according to Fannin Co. Historical Society records.  In 1868 he secured a patent for making Bois D'Arc fences.  The

 information on Harrison Eller and his descendents comes from Judy Bishop (4425 E. Co. 15th, Yuma, AZ

 85365-9321, Rec'd 6/20/96).  Both Harrison and his brother Washington were on the census of Wayne County,

 Kentucky, in 1850. In the 1860 census, Harrison is in Collin County, TX. In the 1870 census, both Harrison and

 Washington are in Collin County, TX.  1870 Census Series: M593, Roll: 1579, p. 340 McKinney, Collin Co., TX

12274 George Washington Eller (September 17, 1850-January 28, 1919) was born in KY and died in Bonham,

Fannin Co., TX.  In 1900 G.W.'s mother, M.J. was living with them at census time. In 1910, “Goo” and his

wife were living with them and “Goo” worked on the farm. G.W. was listed as a minister in the 1900 census

and as a farmer with a fenced farm in 1910.  Tulip Methodist Church was organized in the 1840s. One of the

early trustees was G.W. Eller.  Stimpsons came from North Carolina. They settled near Bonham in 1850.

Thomas B. Stimpson started farming in 1851. He married Rachel Lovelace, daughter of William L. who lived

in the Whiteshed Community. Thomas left farming in the Civil War to join T. Rutherford regiment from Texas.

 farmer. Wilkerson Eller died in the Civil War, leaving a widow and six children, who moved to Monroe County,

 Indiana (per J.W. Eller in his 1918 book). James S. Eller of Monroe County, Indiana, is from this line.  He actually
