The 10th EFA Biennial Conference is scheduled for July 18-22, 2007.   Lee & Lois Hardy are our hosts/coordinators and are in the process of making arrangements.  Here is some arrangement information and web sites that can get us looking down the road toward this event.

Conference attendees are responsible for making their own reservations. Payment of room charges, tax and incidentals and reservations must be made directly with the hotel.  Reservations must be made by June 30, 2007 in order for the $79.00 rate to apply. Reservations must be guaranteed by credit card or deposit.  Room cancellation can be made to the hotel by June 30, 2007 to obtain full refund.  

Each of the attractively decorated rooms at the Akron/Fairlawn Hotel is 20 percent larger than a standard hotel room. Additionally, every guestroom features many special amenities including complimentary Wireless Internet, extra living space with sofas, large work areas with dataport connections, and coffeemakers. 

The restaurant at the Radission Akron/Fairlawn is The Brass Kettle - Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. American cuisine with meatloaf, steak, burgers, chicken sandwiches, and salads. Prime rib served on Saturdays - but remember that's the banquet night! 

Located at I-77 and Route 18, this hotel is 12 miles from downtown Akron, and 25 miles North of Akron-Canton Regional Airport. The hotel does not provide bus or shuttle service, so those arriving by air should make their own arrangements for transportation to and from Akron-Canton Regional Airport.

A hospitality room will be open during the entire conference for display of crafts, the silent auction, tee-shirt sales, refreshments, and conversation.  Casual dress for all meetings and meals.  Suggest coat and tie, dress, etc. for Saturday evening Banquet (not formal).
